As a Senior Technology Architect, you will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; provide technology consultation; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes and evangelize Infosys brand. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, lead and participate in sales and pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Location for this position is Eden Prairie, MN. This position may require frequent travel and or relocation.

Qualifications
Basic
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology
Preferred
At least 4 years of experience in solution architecture, architecture frameworks and technology consulting
At least 7 years of experience in Java/JEE technologies architecture and design including Java, JSP, JSTL, JMS, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, SQL Server, XML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS etc
Broad-based understanding of Enterprise IT landscape including SOA, BPM, EAI, ETL, ESB, Cloud, BigData, Mobility etc
Understanding of market and technology trends eg Scala, DevOps, Agile Architecture etc
TOGAF certification
Experience in defining technology solutions for Assurance or Publishing or Airlines domain to solve business/ IT problems
Experience in providing advanced technology advisory services eg Architecture Assessment, Product/Technology Evaluation, Application Portfolio Rationalization, IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture etc
Experience in BigData technologies including
Storage technologies eg MongoDB, Cassandra, Hive, HBase etc
Distributed computing technologies eg Hadoop, Akka etc
Data Mining/Analytics technologies eg Tableau, R etc
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
