Essential Duties and Responsibilities
SQL Server setup, environment maintenance and server monitoring
Backup and recovery process set-up and monitoring
Participate in 24x7 on call support
Performance and tuning analysis, systems support and optimization
Database and SQL server access control based on security and privacy settings
Participate in SQL code promotion process
Maintain T-SQL coding standards
Disaster Recovery testing and implementation
Technical support of application developers
T-SQL code reviews, script tuning and development
Assist in the requirements analysis, design, development of SQL code and structures
Knowledge transfer of skills to designated backups

Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 4
years of experience of SQL Server administration of SQL Server 2005/2008R2/2012 servers, preferably in large, corporate database environments.
Is a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
Is detail-oriented and quality-focused
Has a strong desire to quickly learn Connexions Loyalty's business

Must have experience applying the following technical skills
Database development, design and support
SQL Server Integration
services
(SSIS)
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

Not required but valued experienced with
SQL Server Database Mirroring
SQL Server Database Snap-Shots
SQL Server Service
broker
(SSBS)
SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
Log shipping

Education and or Experience
Undergraduate degree in
computer
Science/Software Engineering or equivalent business experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
