Role Description
Logic PD is seeking a Solderer I for the Eden Prairie, MN location. This position performs basic various electronic soldering operations on components or subassemblies using schematics, blueprints, electronic files, or drawings.
Duties and Responsibilities
Align and mechanically assemble parts into PC boards
Accurately cut/trim/form component leads using hand cutters and forming tools
Install components and parts
Route and attach wires and form circuitry
Installation through-hole and surface mount components (basic hand soldering)
Perform visual self-inspection per IPC-610A
Post-SMT hand insertion and mechanical assembly
Perform standard rework operations
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 - 5 years of soldering experience
IPC (J Standard) certification
Must be able to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English
Able to identify and apply very small components in very small spaces without damaging adjacent parts
Can self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before forwarding to the next step in the production process
Able to follow directions and maintain a safe and 5S environment
Must listen effectively, possess a positive attitude, and cooperate well with team members
Able to work in a fast-paced environment; can adapt to quickly changing priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction
