Qualifications:
- Airframe and Powerplant Certification Required
- Inspection Authorization Required (or eligibility to obtain within a month or less of hire)
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience on general aviation aircraft (piston engines)
- Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License (Required)
Responsibilities:
- Sweet Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic with Inspection Authorization to maintain and repair system components on our own top-notch fleet as well as those of our customers
- In this role, you will work closely with your supervisor and other mechanics to deliver quick and efficient solutions, always putting safety and quality work above all else!
- Perform regular system inspections
- Maintain systems and equipment
- Use gauges and diagnostic tests to detect malfunctions
- Keep maintenance and repair logs
- Use power and hand tools (e.g. cranes, grinders)
- Knowlage and understanding of guidelines from manuals and blueprints
