If so, we are looking for you!Fenix Group SPC is seeking to hire a Production Supervisor to help us oversee our day-to-day manufacturing operations ensuring the production schedule is met and our production associates are effectively trained.
Reporting to the Operations Site Manager, you will also have the opportunity to assist with projects to improve the efficiency and flow of our manufacturing operation.
The person hired for this role has the potential to become the Operations Site Manager in the future.

A Day in the Life of the Production Supervisor Developing and leading an effective team by providing work assignments to the production associates and ensuring they are:
properly trained on all equipment, following all safety, quality, and manufacturing processes, are meeting target levels for productivity, and resolving any day-to-day issues that arise.
Partnering with the Planner to create a production schedule ensuring customer delivery requirements are achieved, while also optimizing plant and labor capacities.
Ensure the production schedule stays on tracks, root cause any delays, and implement a plan to avoid further delays.
Participating in and implementing continuous improvement projects such as standardizing key manufacturing processes, improving the consistency of batches through production, improving the flow of material/product through production, implementing 5S, reducing waste, and identifying areas for increased speed/efficiency within our processes.
Partnering with the Operations Site Manager & HR to communicate expectations to team members, set team goals, evaluate employee performance, and manage timecards.
Ensure the status of orders and materials are regularly and accurately updated within the ERP system.
Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding the repair or replacement of production equipment.
What You Will Need to be Successful at Fenix Group SPC A High School Diploma or GED 2-4 years of previous supervisory experience, particularly in a manufacturing setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & ERP systems Being self-motivated and driven - strive to deliver great results and continuous improvement.
Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail Strong analytical and problem solving skills A passionate and positive can do attitude, a willingness to learn, to teach, to be a change agent within the company.
Ability to move and lift up to 50lbs.
Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 8:
00am-5:
00pm, with a half hour lunch and two paid breaks.
This schedule has been designed to allow you the ability to provide coverage across both our first and second shifts.
Our first shift runs 6:
30am-3:
00pm Monday-Friday with one lead and 12 employees.
Our second shift runs 2:
00pm-12:
00am Monday-Thursday with one lead and 2 employees (but growing).
