Shutterfly is seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead our in-house CRM, Wed and Paid Social design teams. As our go-to-market creative lead, you will be working closely with our CMO and Integrated Marketing team to elevate our design language and better connect with customers through engaging, action-orientated and brand-driven storytelling.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in leading design teams and systems for ecommerce brands with deep experience in managing CRM and web channels in particular. You will also work closely with cross-functional partners across all aspects of strategy, concepting and design, as well as partnering with our marketing team to make sure the story of our brand and products come through the work consistently. As the senior member of our creative and marketing team, you will play a key role in shaping the Shutterfly brand and design philosophy.
Job Description:
Lead the CRM, Web and Paid Social design teams in strategy, concepting, design, presentation and handoff of best in class brand and product storytelling that moves both customers and the business Raise the overall design bar of the work by elevating our brand style, process and methodology across your channels and the larger creative team Collaborate across teams to establish/scale a modular design system for both the CRM and Web channels to empower both creativity and efficiency for the design teams Oversee the ideation and creative direction of seasonal campaigns Oversee the ideation and creation of action inspiring Paid Social videos for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and more Maintain a high level of creative quality and constancy across all channels Develop a deep knowledge of the brand, our categories and products to apply across all work Mentor a team of designers to further their skillsets and career paths, providing them opportunity to learn and grow into future leaders of Shutterfly Be a good human being who brings passion for the work and compassion for teammates Requirements:

years of experience as a Designer / Creative Director within the retail/ecommercespace 5
years of experience leading and mentoring multiple designers across multiple large-scale projects Hands-on experience building/leading design systems for Web and CRM Experience with modern design, productivity and workflow tools (Figma, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Teams, etc.) Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously using department's project management tools Experience leading full funnel campaign concepting, presentation and implementation Use data and insights to continually develop and refine Shutterfly's Web and CRM design system Ability to thrive in ambiguity, a fast-paced environment and take initiative Great design eye and aesthetic that elevates Shutterfly brand A world-class portfolio of original work that demonstrates your style, expertise and craft Supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce is important to Shutterfly not only because it directly reflects our value of Embracing our Differences, but also because it's the right thing to do for our business and for our people.
