Responsibilities include receipt of specimens into the lab, performance of DNA extraction methods and diagnostic molecular assays per established protocols, result interpretation and reporting, initial troubleshooting analysis, maintenance of lab equipment and records, review of procedures/protocols, and performance of QA/QC activities.
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have the following
Qualifications:
o Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Bachelor's degree in a life scienceo Active ASCP certification and molecular experience are preferred.
o Must be able to work with minimal supervision and meet established turn-around times for clinical testing.
o Effective and articulate communicator with the ability to work well with others and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
o Effective time-management/organizational skills and strong documentation skills are required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
