Marketing Events Intern

This intern will serve as a valued member of the event team, participating and/or leading a variety of projects.
You must be detail-oriented, independent, and eager to learn with excellent communications skills and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
This position will have a hybrid structure, spending 3 days based in Eden Prairie, MN and 2 days working remotely with travel to Forest City, IA and other event locations.
Here what we want you to do:
This role will support event marketing efforts for the WGO brand.
Provide support in the creation and communication of important event materials, such as varies marketing collateral, pre-event communication documents, etc.
Engage with external vendor partners through ongoing event marketing efforts.
Participation in the planning and execution of assigned events.
Serve as Point of Contact for elements of Camp Winnebago (WGO-hosted event in Forest City, IA where we welcome over 1000
owners to celebrate them).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Working toward a degree in marketing, communications, leadership, business or another related degree area.
Ability to work both independently and alongside a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
Must be able to travel.
Travel will be based in the U.
S.
and potentially over weekends.
This position requires that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
