$70,000-$85,000 per year Exempt Click here to apply KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Public Safety & Security Manager will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the overall security of Grace Church properties, including the operational and physical security, through the following duties:
Administer, maintain & develop safety and security policies & programs to ensure the physical safety of all property and assets.
Supervise administration, operation and performance of Grace church's security equipment and a Public Safety Staff of Safety Officers.
Plan and analyze Grace Church's security operations, inclusive of physical security assets and security personnel.
Administer Risk Assessments and modify procedures and policies as necessary.
Develop and administer EAP (Emergency Action Plan).
Ensures EAP is updated on an annual basis.
Oversee Executive Protection.
Manage Public Safety Budget.
Collaborates and communicates with other departments, maintaining strong relationships to ensure positive public relations and guest services to our staff, guests, and congregants.
Serve as Grace Church's liaison with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies.
Develop, schedule, and execute church-wide safety and security planning.
Conduct investigations and prepare incident and medical reports.
Oversee work schedules and delegate responsibilities to members of the public safety team.
Manage weekly roll call of Sunday Security staff, Wednesday programming and all other events.
Ongoing recruiting and development of Public Safety officers for all campuses.
Develop and execute training programs for all Public Safety officers, volunteers & staff.
Manage cameras and footage.
Manage access keycard badge access for volunteers and staff.
Schedule and manage door access.
Manage burglary alarm system.
Manage medical equipment and supplies throughout the building and all campuses.
Other duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS Educational requirements:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
Experience required:
5 years
of full-time professional experience in the security industry or law enforcement and/or military.
Proven interpersonal communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, use discretion, and operate under ethical conduct.
Ability to resolve problems and maintain composure.
Must be proficient in the latest security technology.
Specific vision abilities required, corrected vision to 20/20.
Frequently requires lifting and/or moving 10 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
Requires the physical flexibility to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Regularly requires hours outside of regular business hours and weekend work.
Ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as drive & develop teams.
Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Has a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:
18-20).
Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.
Consistent attendance and participation in Grace Church and involvement in the life of the church.
Must have & maintain a current Minnesota Permit to Carry.
Medical Certifications Preferred or able to obtain within first 90 days of employment:
First Aid/AED, EMR, Etc.
