Engineering Technician II (GIS/CAD)
2 days ago Full Job Description JOB The Engineering Technician supports operations and engineering staff in the Public Works Department in the areas of AutoCAD drawing and design, GIS mapping, database coordination, and various municipal engineering tasks.
Some of the primary position responsibilities and areas of impact are:
- Develops engineering drawings, construction plans, and various drawings/maps utilizing AutoCAD and other related computer application independently or at the direction of engineering or other City staff.
- Maintains and develops City AutoCAD standards and project organization- Follows and assists with development of written policies and procedures related to CAD/GIS/database information; assists with document imaging, applications, and procedures; maintains related records.
